Collaboration Rates – Grimilde Malatesta

Grimilde Malatesta is an Italian artisanal brand producing high-quality historical and fantasy costumes. Over the past decade, it has grown a loyal following of over 84,000 people on Instagram and thousands more on Facebook, establishing itself as a recognized name in the historical costuming and visual storytelling scene.

All posts feature editorial-level photography, styled and produced to reflect the aesthetic and craftsmanship of the brand. Grimilde Malatesta is independently owned and operated by Chiara Beatrice Vaccari, who acts as model, costumer, photographer, and editor.

This document outlines collaboration opportunities available on Grimilde Malatesta’s social media platforms. All rates include VAT and are invoiced as professional services (P.IVA 05197680282).

1. Promotions with Existing Content

These options include the use of content already present in the Grimilde Malatesta archive. This allows for a faster turnaround and reduced cost, as no new photo set is required.

• Instagram + Facebook post (1 photo + 1 story per platform)
  €450

• Instagram + Facebook story only (1 per platform)
  €150

• Instagram live unboxing (recorded and published as a Reel, not visible on the feed)
  €350
  Shipping costs to be covered by the Collaborator.

Fulfillment timeframe: up to one month from agreement.

2. Custom Content Creation

These collaborations involve the creation of a dedicated photo set, styled and produced specifically for the brand. The final images will reflect Grimilde Malatesta’s signature aesthetic and storytelling approach.

• Base price for creation of a custom photo set + publication of 1 photo post
  €820

This price includes:

• Full styling and costume rental from the Grimilde archive

• Hair and makeup

• Photography and post-production (each image requires 40–60 minutes of editing)

• Use of a suitable location within 60 minutes of Maserà di Padova

• Use of Grimilde Malatesta as model and photographer

• Publication of 1 post on Instagram and Facebook

The image will remain published indefinitely. Additional uses (such as reels, carousels, or extended publishing rights) are detailed below.

3. Add-ons and Publication Options

• Each additional image for carousel (same photo session)
  +€70

• Reel (instead of static image)
  +50% of base post price

• Each additional story
  +10% per story

• Clickable link in story (in addition to brand tag)
  +5%

• Collaboration post (with brand profile listed as co-author)
  +15%
  (Not recommended, as co-authored posts tend to underperform in this niche.)

4. Usage Rights and Extensions

All collaboration prices include:

• Non-exclusive rights for 3 months of usage across the brand’s social media only (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).

• Website and commercial/shop usage not included.

Extensions:

• +25% per additional month of social media usage

• +25% for whitelisting and paid promotion authorization

• Usage periods can be non-consecutive

Any commercial or shop usage must be agreed upon separately and licensed accordingly.

5. Flexible Location Opportunities

If a new photo set can be created during a public event Grimilde Malatesta already plans to attend within the next 4 months, and provided the event allows promotional use of its settings, the content creation fee will be reduced by 30%.

In cases where the event organizers request a usage fee for promotional purposes, this cost will be discussed and confirmed with the Collaborator beforehand.

6. Production Limits and Timeframe

Due to the artisanal nature of the process, the following limits apply per collaboration:

• Maximum deliverables within a one-month period:

  • 3 separate photos

  • 1 reel and 1 photo

  • Carousels with close-up or detail shots of the same scene

For larger sets or faster turnaround, additional time or rates may apply.

7. Editorial Control and Credits

All final posts and captions will be subject to approval by Chiara Beatrice Vaccari before publication. Brands may not add or modify captions or tags without permission. The Collaborator agrees to remove or alter content if requested.

Grimilde Malatesta reserves the right to repost or reuse any of the created content independently, tagging the brand, but is not obligated to publish more than the agreed amount.
