Description

Missed out on the Sybil or Athenais gowns? Let the Livia Drusilla dress mend that heartbreak.

Crafted from hand-pleated, upcycled vintage silk sarees, this one-of-a-kind garment doesn’t aim to recreate Greco-Roman fashion, but rather to echo the soft opulence of Victorian painters like Alma-Tadema and Godward, through a modern, poetic lens.

Each dress is a tribute to the visionary work of costume designer Gabriella Pescucci, especially her creations for the Domina series. While not a replica, the silhouette is woven with aesthetic references: wide sleeves, fluid drape, pleated details.

No two are alike. Each gown is made from reclaimed silk, shimmering sometimes with metallic brocade or satin details, adorned with bullion embroidery, or blooming with faded florals. They are intentionally extra-wide, and designed to be styled freely — with ribbons, sashes, or jewels of your choosing.

Low-maintenance and travel-friendly, these dresses require no pressing or steaming. Just twist, store, and go.

This listing is for the gown alone. Ribbons and accessories shown are for styling inspiration only.

Available in limited shades:

Antique Wine – Crisp silk with a Fortuny-like printed motif

Preraphaelite Pink – Soft florals, as if plucked from a Rossetti painting

Purple Blue – Luminous silk satin, shifting from violet to deep blue, woven with real metal threads

Each piece carries the marks of a past life — slubs, slight imperfections, and the patina of time. If you see a shade that speaks to your soul, don’t wait. These cannot be commissioned. Once they’re gone, they belong to someone else’s story.

Are you Medea, Persephone, Circe or Selene? Add a whisper of violet to your eyes and write your own myth.
