Inspired by The Borgias TV series, this gown is a vision drawn from the lavish yet treacherous courts of Italy—an echo of splendor reborn in a new hue.

With luxurious fabrics, a one-of-a-kind design, and craftsmanship entirely by my own hands in my Italian workshop, this dress is more than a garment—it is a transformation, a portal to the reimagined reverie that the series captured so vividly.

A Gown in Tandem—A Vanishing Spell

I will craft two gowns: one for myself and one for a single fortunate soul. Created in tandem, yours will be made to your precise measurements, ensuring a flawless fit. Beyond this, no further commissions for this design shall be accepted. When these final stitches are sewn, the opportunity will dissolve like a spell at dawn.

An homage to Lucrezia Borgia—elegant, beguiling, and steeped in the power of those who navigate both light and shadow—this gown offers you the chance to embody history’s romance and peril. But be warned: this is a fleeting moment. When the thread is cut, it will not be tied again.

This piece will not try to be an exact copy of one of the garments in the series, it will instead take inspiration from them, and take form as an original piece, as the one in the pictures above, by Christopher Monti and Lucia Coppo

 

Fabric & Color – A Pact of Trust

The color of the gown will depend on the finest fabrics I can source. Rather than forcing an improper textile to meet an exact shade, I will select a fabric that speaks to me—one worthy of this creation. I will, however, seek hues that align with Lucrezia’s world, staying within a palette that honors the series.

If you are drawn to this piece, I encourage you to reach out. Requests such as “dark and cool tones” or “warm pastels” will be considered. However, hyper-specific demands—“Teal, but more on the blue side, and very dark, possibly in velvet”—will not be accommodated. My craft is guided by instinct and artistic vision. If you are here, it is because you trust my work. To commission a piece in my style, you must allow me the freedom to create as I would for myself.

Should I discover the perfect fabric before a patron steps forward, I will claim it and begin the work.

Construction & Customization

• The gown is structured to be worn without additional support layers.

• A separate camicia (shift) in silk organza is available as an optional add-on. This is the most historically versatile choice but requires assistance when dressing.

• Alternatively, “illusion” pieces can be incorporated to ensure the gown is immediately wearable.

The gown will close at the center back with hand-sewn eyelets.

Intellectual Property & Usage

By completing a one-time payment purchase, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:

1. The gown is a unique work of art, and its design remains the intellectual property of the Seller.

2. The Customer may not replicate, commission copies, or extract patterns from the gown. If unauthorized reproductions are made or sanctioned by the Customer, they shall be liable to pay the Seller a fee equal to 50% of the original gown’s price per copy.

3. The Customer agrees to wear the gown as intended and demonstrated in the Seller’s promotional materials. Any public misrepresentation (including but not limited to improper wearing of structural elements or unauthorized modifications) that damages the Seller’s professional image will result in a penalty of 15% of the gown’s price per documented violation.
