Description
Flat? This is really not. But that’s how they called it.
The structure it is built upon really makes it three-dimensional. It will sit right on top of your head, no slouching. If worn properly, with the right gibson girl hairstyle, with lots of volume going to the top and forward, it will make you look like you stepped out of a fashion plate!
Can be worn from 1900 to roughly 1907.
Hand dyed cotton muslin, in the palest yellow, shirred and corded pink silk organza, fabric hydrangea and iris flowers, picot ribbon bows.
Two wisteria colored peonies and a brocade pale beige ribbon have been added to the hat since the photos were taken. Please email [email protected] if you wish to see updated pictures.
One of a kind piece!
